Program of Events

Come enjoy the beautiful historic ranch and 18-acre nature preserve, rarely open to the public.  Join a variety of activities for all ages, especially kids.  Featuring wildlife fun at the pond (red-legged frogs and our resident western pond turtle, Mr. T).  Visit animals in the garden (goats and beautiful parrots from the CC Avian Society).  Try out DIY gardening projects, hands-on nature arts and crafts, and earth day games.  Join a rare docent tour of the meadows, woodland, ponds and streams, and the historic home site of Theodore Wagner, California’s first Surveyor General. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, or bring your own picnic to enjoy at our many picnic tables. Several community organizations will also present earth-friendly endeavors. Visit our silent auction table.  And more!
